Holiday Potluck Party Dec. 12
Join Us for the Guilford Alumni Holiday Potluck Party
Who: Friends, family, and alumni of Guilford College
Date: Saturday, December 12
Time: 3:00 – 6:00 PM; White Elephant gift exchange at 5:00 PM
Location: Home of Becky Ray, ’00, and David in the Brookland neighborhood of DC near the Red Line (Brookland-Catholic University). Address will be posted on the E-vite invitation.
What to bring: A dish to share (suggestion: something from your family tradition or a personal favorite). A "gift" if you wish to participate in the White Elephant gift exchange (for a definition, visit: www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-white-elephant-gift-exchange.htm ).
Please Note: You will receive a separate E-vite invitation for the Holiday Party. You can use the E-vite to RSVP (Yes, No, or Maybe), leave a comment, and check the current replies of other alumni to see what dishes they intend to bring (you can return to E-Vite through the link you will receive in your e-mail to update your response at any time). Help Us Deliver an Exciting Event Lineup in 2010 by Hosting an Event
One frequent challenge we face is finding suitable locations for our events. While some events can be held at public locations, others work best in a more private or personal seting. If you have a home or office you may be interested in opening up to an alumni event, contact us at dcalumni@guilford.edu . We are happy to discuss your interests and help identify an event suitable for your location, be it a picnic/BBQ, game night, career networking event, discussion group, or something completely different (perhaps an idea all your own?). If you decide to host, we can match you up with an event planner or offer full logistical support and backup should you opt to plan the event yourself. Contacting us puts you under no obligation, so why not open the dialogue and explore the possibilities today?

It's easy. If you are interested, contact the DC Regional Council. All you have to do is pick an activity and a place and show up:
we'll handle the communications and publicize the event! Also, we are always looking for alumni with connections to arrange special tours, gain special access to events for Guilford alumni,
