Guilford DC Alumni Listserv

The DC Regional Alumni Council operates an e-mail list, or "listserv," through which it shares information about local alumni events, news, and other information of interest to Guilford alumni in the DC area. The frequency of our messages vary depending on our activities, but generally we send out one message every two to four weeks. We promise not to clutter up your e-mail box!

To sign up for the listserv, send a message to dcalumni@guilford.edu with the subject "Please add me to the listserv." In the body of the message, you should identify yourself and include your class year or your relationship to Guilford if you are not an alum. We also encourage you to tell us how you learned about the listserv and share a little about yourself.

The listserv was established with an "opt-in" approach, meaning that alumni have to send an e-mail to dcalumni@guilford.edu and request to be added to the listserv. This approach is consistent with the Regional Council's efforts to be very respectful of individual preferences when communicating with alumni.

Please be aware that we do try to share all information we receive with the Guilford Alumni Office. The listserv is primarily intended for alumni in the area, but anyone in the Guilford family may join. There are a number of alumni who do not live in the DC area, but have joined the listserv because they travel here regularly or are thinking about moving to the area. Some faculty and administation, past and present, also use the listserv as a way to stay in touch with what is happening in DC.
